These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of The Good Toys Store website and purchases of collectible items. By accessing our site or making a purchase, you agree to these legally binding terms.

Order Acceptance & Pricing

All collectible purchases require manual confirmation via WhatsApp/email before payment. We reserve the right to:

  • Reject/cancel orders for any reason (e.g., inventory discrepancies)
  • Adjust prices due to market fluctuations in the collectibles market
  • Limit quantities per customer for rare items

Note: Orders are only binding after we confirm stock availability and you complete payment.

Collectibles Disclaimer

As a reseller of limited-edition designer toys, we explicitly state:

  • Minor production variations may exist compared to product images
  • Packaging may show wear from storage/transport (common in collectibles market)
  • We authenticate all items but cannot guarantee future valuation

Authenticity Guarantee: We provide proof of purchase from authorized distributors for all items over $500 upon request.

Payments & Fees

We accept major credit cards and PayPal. By completing payment, you agree to:

  • Pay all applicable taxes and import duties (for international orders)
  • Potential currency conversion fees from your financial institution
  • No refunds except as specified in our Refund Policy

Intellectual Property

The Good Toys Store® is a registered trademark. Unauthorized use of our branding, product photography, or descriptions is prohibited.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Good Toys Store shall not be liable for:

  • Market value fluctuations of collectible items
  • Shipping delays beyond our control (customs, weather, etc.)
  • Damages occurring after delivery confirmation
  • Consequential damages from purchase decisions

Maximum Liability: In no event shall our total liability exceed the purchase price of the specific item in dispute.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall be resolved through:

  1. Good faith negotiation via disputes@thecooltoys.shop
  2. Mediation in New York County, NY if unresolved within 60 days
  3. Binding arbitration under AAA rules if mediation fails

By purchasing, you waive rights to class action lawsuits or jury trials.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by New York law without regard to conflict of law principles.

International buyers agree that any disputes will be resolved according to United States law and in New York courts.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Material changes will be communicated via email to active customers and noted with a new "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
